WASHINGTON — The Committee to Elect Mark Charles for President is pleased to announce that Mark Charles will host a live stream on the MarkCharles2020 YouTube Channel this Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1 p.m, – Eastern Time; 10 a.m. -Pacific Time.

In this live stream, Mark will be announcing his upcoming plans to have Native America be the unexpected, but rightful leaders to elevate his message of #AllThePeople by getting him on the ballot before the Iowa Caucus on February 3rd.

With signature collection season about to begin in 2020, Mark Charles seeks to gather the nation’s attention by mounting a Native American-led movement to put Mark on the state ballots. This initiative will call for Natives to come out in large numbers across the country to begin signing the state petitions the final week of January. The goal is to satisfy several states’ signature requirements before the Iowa caucus of Feb 3rd and be well on his way for the other states with a jump start from Indian Country.

Mark has long been operating his campaign for presidency under the notion that Native Nations deserve first attention and visitation, guided by traditional and proper cultural protocol of indigenous cultures. His campaign has visited with numerous tribal leadership and reservations over the past few months. One of the major goals of Mark’s campaign is to use his presence in the race to raise the voices and perspectives of Native America in campaign dialogues for all candidates. This includes addressing issues directly affecting Indian Country at the upcoming Native American Presidential Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 24 & 25, 2020.

Initial research done by the campaign indicates that numerically, based on the census, NativeAmericans state-by-state could potentially satisfy signature collection requirements alone. Thecampaign is calling Native America to stand up united and support this campaign to ensure thatNative issues will be a part of the 2020 general election. While getting Mark on the state ballotsdoes not ensure or require that all of Natives will vote for him, this movement will speak loudly to
the nation that “We are still here!”

Please join Mark Charles on this live stream Friday, November 22, 2019, as he lays out his plan to secure his place on the ballot with the support of Native America, and begin the steps to create a Common Memory and in turn build a nation where “We The People” truly means#AllThePeople.
