November is Native American Heritage Month

RICHMOND, Calif. — On Tuesday- November 20, 2019, Friends and allies showed up to the West Contra Costa Unified School District in Richmond, CA. at the WCCUSD school board meeting where they had a resolution celebrating & acknowledging Native American Heritage Month. The school district has over 31,000 students attending from six cities that consist of making the district.
I was there as the State Chairperson representing the United Urban Warrior Society-California Chapter, we have over 2500 members state wide. Among the allies were the Sikh community from the local temple that has supported our yearly United Urban Warrior Society- California Chapter’s Indigenous People’s Walk for Sobriety with financial support and food during our Sobriety Walk.
